Words and symbols on the pavement

Stencils put words, numbers, arrows, and symbols on pavement, such as a trailer parking label or visitor symbol. Pavement stencil marking supports the stall lines by naming the purpose of each area.

Stencils last longest on clean, dry pavement and are easiest to read when kept short.

Send the labels you want through the homepage inquiry form.

Three kinds of arrival on one island road

Pine Island Commercial Marina is at 6001 Maria Drive, according to Lee County. The county page describes a single lane boat ramp with parking for vehicles with boat trailers. It is a public site, not a client, and its fees and hours belong to the county, so nothing here repeats them.

Galt Preserve is at 3661 Stringfellow Road, according to the county stewardship plan, and the plan places it about 7 miles south of Pine Island Center at about Pine Island mile marker 2 off York Road in St. James City. The preserve sits on the southern end of the island, so a nearby private lot may serve visitors with different needs than boaters.

The marina page also lists a paddlecraft landing, restrooms, and on leash dog walking, which shows that people reach this end of the island for several kinds of outings. If your lot has more than one kind of user, mark each area plainly and keep a lane open between them.

If you allow trailers, measure the longest rig and note how it enters and leaves. If you do not, say so, and we will plan ordinary stalls. Write your own rules for overnight trailers and visitors, so signs and stencils say the same thing.

Where paint meets bare edges or loose shell, clean the surface first. Photographs of the entrance and each section help us describe what exists today.

Island pavement may be older and patched. Note any cracks or low spots that hold water, since paint needs a sound, dry surface to last.
